After being knocked out of the FIFA World Cup, Brazil sensation Neymar sent a message to Arsenal player Gabriel Jesus. The forward has a knee injury and will be out for more than a month.
On Saturday, Brazil was dealt a double blow when Jesus and Alex Telles were both ruled out of the FIFA World Cup. The two stars were injured in their final group-stage play against Cameroon.
Neymar took to Instagram to post a message for the duo and wished them strength. On his IG story, the PSG superstar wrote:
“Strength and faith. We will always be together.”
Telles and Jesus were both taken off in the 1-0 loss to Cameroon and underwent testing on Saturday. MRI tests revealed that neither could recover in the following month, meaning they would miss the World Cup even if Brazil made it to the final.
Neymar is out of the FIFA World Cup due to an injury.
Neymar was injured in Brazil’s first game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and has missed the previous two. He is still recovering from his ankle injury.
Rodrigo Lasmar, Brazil’s team doctor, believes the PSG star will be fit for Tuesday’s Round of 16 match against South Korea.
“We believe we have time on our hands and there is a chance in regards to Neymar and Alex Sandro. We should wait to see how they adapt as they have yet to begin practising with the ball and will do so tomorrow. We will make a decision based on how people react to this new approach, which is crucial to observe.”
he said
“Danilo has been evolving very positively and today he did intense work with the ball and has adapted functionally very positively. The expectation is tomorrow he will be able to train normally with all players. Let’s observe what happens and if everything is OK, we have very high expectations that he will be available for the next match.”
